He has brown paint, red cheeks, Blue eyes, a black top hat with a red band around it, He is a little fatter than Freddy Fazbear, he also has the black bow tie and has three freckles on his snout on both sides. Also, he still has a microphone and has two buttons on his stomach.

Story[]

Five Nights at Freddy's 2[]

Toy Freddy created to be the main mascot of the reopened Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in 1987. Along with his fellow Toy animatronics, he was fitted with a facial recognition software linked to a criminal database so that they would be able to detect any threats to children. He is seen on the Show Stage in the minigame SAVETHEM, and may be possessed by a victim of William Afton.

Toy Freddy was among the animatronics whose facial recognition was altered by William, to perceive all adults as potential threats, which led to him and the other Toy animatronics attacking his successor, Jeremy Fitzgerald. Toy Freddy was unable to successfully kill Jeremy due to him using his Freddy Mask to fool him. Phone Guy noted that the Toys were able to interact with children during the day, but seemed aggressive towards adults. After Fritz Smith's shift, when Toy Freddy's AI was altered, he was scrapped along with the other Toys when the Pizzeria shut down.

Help Wanted[]

Toy Freddy appears as a game character within the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience, serving as an antagonist in the FNAF 2 game mode.

Special Delivery[]

Replicas of Toy Freddy are created as part of the Fazbear Funtime Service. During its development, Nora from the Research & Development found that the interference caused by the facial recognition suite has a risk of rendering the function of users' headset useless. However, Tristan from the Compliance Team ignored her warning. Due to the corruption of a virus, the Toy Freddys became hostile.

Behavior[]

FNaF 2[]

Toy Freddy is first seen in the Show Stage area and proceeds to go into the Game Area. He then enters the Office Hall and proceeds to enter the Office. If the player is unable to put on the Freddy Mask in time, they will be jumpscared. Unlike the first game Toy Freddy will become active as early as Night 1 and he will get more and more aggressive as the week goes on, but there will be some nights where the toys become inactive and the Withered animatronics become active.

Ultimate Custom Night[]

Relax, Toy Freddy is retired. He sits in the Parts and Service room playing video games on his big-screen TV. What game is his playing? Five Nights With Mr. Hugs, of course. The problem is that Toy Freddy has never been very good at video games, and if he loses his game, he will probably blame you for it. Check the Parts and Service cam to see how he's doing. In Five Nights With Mr. Hugs, there are three ways into the office and only one door can be closed at a time. Click the cams on Toy Freddy's monitor, then be sure that the appropriate door is closed to prevent Mr. Hugs from getting into his office. If you check on Toy Freddy and see GAME OVER on his screen, that means that Mr. Hugs has already jumpscared him, and now Toy Freddy is on his way to jumpscare you. Once Toy Freddy has been jumpscared, there will be no way to calm him down, and no way to save yourself.

— Character description.
It should be noted that Toy Freddy is vulnerable to the Death Coin.

Help Wanted[]

Similar to FNaF 2, Toy Freddy has the exact same behavior in Help Wanted.

Special Delivery[]

Similar to the other animatronics, Toy Freddy is able to go haywire, as well as charge or disrupt the screen.

However, Toy Freddy can also gradually take your power away randomly. If he starts to take your power away, red lights will start flashing on your screen. In order to stop him from taking any more power, wear the Freddy Mask that you are given until the red lights stop flashing.

When Toy Freddy goes haywire, you will need to wear the same Freddy Mask and stare at him until he disappears.

Game Information[]

Special Delivery[]

Toy Freddy was introduced as a part of the Valentines 2020 event, being the final Toy animatronic to arrive in the game.

Similar to the other characters added post-launch, Toy Freddy was only available for his initial event alongside occasional Blast to the Past encounters.

However, during his temporary return in the Heart Stoppers event, he was introduced to the permanent roster on February 19th, 2021. This makes him the third character to be officially added to the service post-launch, and able to be obtained naturally on the map.

  • Toy Freddy is one of the five animatronics that do not appear in the air vents : four others are Freddy Fazbear, Golden Freddy, Foxy, and the Puppet.

  • Like his original counterpart, Toy Freddy holds his microphone while hunting the night guard.
  • His jumpscare is also similar to that of Freddy and Chica, him popping up near the night guard's face, rather than lunging at them like Foxy and other Toy animatronics.
  • He is also the only new animatronic (with the exception of the Puppet) to never enter the vents.
  • Toy Freddy is one of the few new animatronics that does not have an unlockable plushie on the Custom Night, along with Toy Chica, The Puppet, and Mangle.

  • In Five Nights at Freddy's 4, a literal toy of him is featured in a minigame. As this minigame takes place in 1983 it is entirely possible this figurine is the inspiration for the animatronic.
