The Plushtrap Hallway.

The Plushtrap Hallway, also known as Hallway, is a location in Five Nights at Freddy's 4, where Plushtrap resides. After the player has completed a night before Night 5, they will be allowed to play a minigame called "Fun With Plushtrap", giving them the opportunity to cut off two hours in the next night.

In the Halloween update, a new version of the game was introduced, entitled "Fun with Balloon Boy", which has Nightmare Balloon Boy replacing Plushtrap.

Help Wanted[]

We see the Plushtrap hallway again in Help wanted, as the First Dark Rooms challenge. It has the same mechanics as it does in FNaF 4, so there isn't much to say about it. As the second Dark Rooms challenge, we have the fun with Balloon Boy.

Special Delivery[]

The hallway reappears within Special Delivery, being the whole basis of Plushtrap's mechanic. Unlike in it's previous incarnations, the hallway is abandoned, having puddles on the floor with damaged walls and collapsed ceilings.

The hallway is also far longer, and Plushtrap can be seen in the distance. The length appears to be more than twice that of the original game, with more places to hide as well as more additions to it.

The walls have changed in color, along with the entire theme of the hall. Instead of the giant room, featuring two small closet-like areas, it appears to be more based on that of a Warehouse hallway. The side areas have been given green doors, featuring a bar on them to open, which also matches the white and green colors on the walls themselves.

Where the player sits, two generators are on the sides, along with a power meter on the wall between them. These are utilized solely for Plushtrap's mechanic, and are required to shock him.

In front of the player, there is a puddle, surrounded by a mound of dirt. Some machines sit pointed at the puddle from above, which can fire electricity into it when charged properly.

Although there are still only the four doorways, an additional set is placed in a hallway behind Plushtrap's chair, though impossible to normally see in the lighting.

When a Plushtrap is lured in with the Frost Plushtrap lure, the environment changes to match. Snow can be seen piling up, which can make it harder to see the now-Ice Blue Plushtrap. In addition, it can block off some of his hiding spots entirely, due to the snow placement. The entire room behind Plushtrap has been removed, with ice lining where the doorway once was. This leads to an outside area, featuring some snow-covered trees and a snowy hill.

Trivia[]

  • This hallway was seen in the Private Room's secret footage in Sister Location's fake ending.
  • According to the map in the Breaker Room, The plushtrap hallway is nowhere near the FNaF 4 house.
  • In Help Wanted, Plushtrap, Nightmare BB, and Funtime Foxy's levels are the only ones to be identical to the original, without balancing changes to fit with VR's system.
